Privacy Policy

GLITCH MAPS • Last updated: November 8, 2025

Overview

We respect your privacy. We collect the minimum needed to run Glitch Maps. We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not store precise GPS coordinates; public pins are randomized by ~100–300 meters before submission, and only the randomized point is saved and displayed.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

What We Don’t Do

Third Parties

We may use processors such as hosting, database, analytics, and push providers (e.g., OneSignal/APNs/FCM). They act under our instructions and do not sell your data.

Retention

Content and randomized pin locations are kept while your content remains public or as required for safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons. You can delete your posts or erase your data using “Delete all my stuff.” Notification tokens are removed when you opt out or delete your data.

Your Rights (California CCPA/CPRA)

To exercise rights, email privacy@glitchmaps.app. We may verify your request (e.g., email confirmation). Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.

Do Not Track

We do not respond to browser DNT signals because we do not track users across third-party sites.

Children

Not for children under 13. If we learn we collected information from a child under 13, we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure.

Changes & Contact

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted in-app and on this page.
