Purpose
Glitch Maps is for entertainment and community storytelling about unexplained experiences. Content is unverified. Keep it safe and respectful.
Allowed
- Personal “glitch” reports with generalized locations (pins are randomized ~100–300 m).
- Non-identifying photos or descriptions that you created or have rights to post.
Not Allowed
- Harassment, hate, threats, or doxxing; private information (addresses, phone numbers, precise coordinates).
- Sexual content involving minors, exploitation, or graphic violence.
- Illegal activity, credible danger instructions, or emergency claims presented as fact.
- Spam, mass posting, scams, or deceptive manipulation.
- Copyright infringement or trademark misuse.
- Attempts to pinpoint a specific person’s exact location or home.
Reporting & Enforcement
- Each pin has a “Report” control with reasons (offensive, false/misleading, spam/duplicate, safety concern, incorrect location, other).
- Reported items are hidden for the reporter and may be removed, limited, or reviewed by moderators.
- Repeat or serious violations may lead to suspension or device blocking.
Data & Privacy Notes
- We do not store precise GPS; only randomized points are saved and shown.
- A device token/identifier may be used solely for notifications; we do not sell or share your personal information.
