FAQ

GLITCH MAPS • Frequently Asked Questions

What is Glitch Maps?

Glitch Maps is a paranormal interference map. When something in the physical world feels wrong or out of place, you drop a glitch pin and help show where reality breaks the rules.

What is a “glitch”?

Glitch (Paranormal Interference): a trace left behind when the other side touches our world — shadows that move, strange lights, sudden cold spots, and other moments that don’t behave like normal reality.

Is it really anonymous?

Yes. Glitch Maps is designed to be 100% anonymous for reporters. You can’t add your name, handle, or profile, and other users can’t see who you are.

Do you track my exact location?

No. We never store precise GPS. Pins are randomized before they are saved or shown on the map.

Why can’t I post photos or comments?

To keep things simple, safe, and anonymous. Glitch Maps is about the signal, not the social feed. You drop a glitch, it joins the pattern, and that’s it.

Why don’t you track UAPs/UFOs?

Because we already know they’re real. Glitch Maps focuses on ground-level interference — what you feel in your body and see around you in houses, streets, and forests after the weirdness gets close.

Is Glitch Maps for kids?

No. Glitch Maps is not intended for children under 16. If you’re under 16, please don’t use the app.

Where can I talk about my glitches?

The app itself stays anonymous and quiet. For discussion, we’ll have a separate Reddit group where people can talk about Glitch Maps occurrences and stories. Link coming soon in the app and on this site.
